Creator Terms
Additional rules that apply if you publish booking codes on TipHub. They exist to make the performance record trustworthy — for the people following you, and for the bookmakers whose codes you distribute.
Last updated 4 September 2026
1. Scope
These terms apply in addition to our Terms of Use. Where the two conflict on something specific to creators, these terms govern.
2. Becoming a creator
- You must be 18 or over and hold a TipHub account in your own name.
- You must complete identity verification, including a National Identification Number. We store this only as an irreversible keyed hash plus the last four digits — our Privacy Policy explains exactly how.
- One creator account per person. Running multiple accounts to publish the same codes, or to bury a poor record behind a fresh one, is grounds for permanent removal.
- You must not present yourself as another person, as a bookmaker, or as affiliated with TipHub beyond being a creator on it.
3. What you publish
- Publish only booking codes that genuinely exist at the bookmaker you attribute them to, and that you generated or have the right to share.
- Publish before kick-off. Codes submitted after the events have started, or after results are known, do not count towards your record and may be removed.
- Describe your selections accurately. Do not misstate odds, markets or kick-off times, and do not reuse a winning code to imply a fresh prediction.
- Do not publish other people's paid content, and do not resell content you bought on TipHub.
4. Your performance record
TipHub reads each code you publish, records its selections, and reads it again after settlement. Those readings produce your public record: win rate, results history and return figures.
The record is permanent and you cannot curate it. You may delete a code before kick-off. Once events have started, the code stays and settles into your history whatever the outcome. Selective deletion of losing tickets would make every published win rate meaningless, so it is not available to anyone, at any tier, on request or otherwise.
If you close your creator account, your settled results remain on the platform detached from your identity, for the same reason.
If you believe a result was recorded incorrectly — a void leg, a resettlement, a code we misread — tell us at compliance@tiphub.com.ng with the code and what you believe is wrong. We will re-check it against the bookmaker and correct the record if we got it wrong. We do not adjust records for any other reason.
5. Language you may not use
Gambling advertising rules, and basic decency towards the people following you, both put hard limits on how a betting code can be sold. These are not stylistic preferences. Breaching them is the fastest way to lose a creator account.
Never claim or imply certainty
The following terms, and any close variation of them, are prohibited outright:
- “sure bet”
- “guaranteed”
- “fixed”
- “100% win”
- “risk-free”
- “daily income”
- “salary replacement”
Never frame betting as a solution to money problems
- Do not present betting as a way to earn a living, pay a debt, cover school fees, or escape financial difficulty.
- Do not urge anyone to stake more than they planned, to chase a loss, or to borrow in order to bet.
- Do not suggest that betting relieves stress, or that skill removes the risk of losing.
Never target people who should not be betting
- Do not aim content at anyone under 18, or use imagery, language, characters or platforms that appeal mainly to children.
- Do not market to anyone who has told you they are self-excluded or trying to stop.
Never claim inside knowledge
- Do not claim fixed matches, insider information, or a source within a club, league or bookmaker.
- Do not imply that TipHub, or any bookmaker, endorses you or has verified your predictions. We verify that codes exist and record how they settled. That is all.
6. Reports, takedowns and strikes
Anyone can report a piece of creator content, and bookmakers can report content that concerns their brand. We act on reports to a published timetable.
- Within 4 hours
- Content involving a minor, a guaranteed-return claim, or a named private individual. Removed first, reviewed after.
- Within 24 hours
- Every other report, from the time we receive written notice.
- Notification
- We tell you what was removed and why, and you can respond. If we were wrong, we restore it and the strike does not stand.
Strikes
- First breach — content removed, written warning.
- Second breach — content removed, publishing suspended for 14 days.
- Third breach — creator account permanently closed.
- Serious breaches — content aimed at minors, claimed fixed matches, fabricated codes, or impersonation — skip the ladder and result in immediate permanent closure.
To appeal any decision, reply to the notice we send you or write to compliance@tiphub.com.ng within 14 days. A different person reviews the appeal.
7. Paid content and payouts
- You set the price of your paid tickets and subscriptions within the limits the platform allows.
- We deduct payment-processing costs and our platform fee, and pay the balance to the account you have verified. The current fee is shown in your creator dashboard before you publish.
- Payouts are made on our published schedule and may be held where a payment is disputed, where fraud is suspected, or while an investigation into your account is open.
- You are responsible for your own tax on what you earn. We may report payouts to the authorities where the law requires it.
- Where we refund a buyer under our Terms of Use, the corresponding amount is deducted from your balance.
8. Your content and our licence
Your content remains yours. By publishing on TipHub you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce and distribute it on the platform and in material promoting the platform, for as long as it is published and afterwards to the extent needed to keep the historical record intact.
You confirm that you have the rights to everything you publish, and that publishing it does not breach anyone else's rights.
9. Your responsibility
You are responsible for the content you publish and for keeping to these terms. If a claim is brought against us because of content you published in breach of them, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and damages directly arising from it.
This does not apply where the claim arises from our own acts or omissions, and it does not extend beyond loss actually caused by your breach.
10. Suspension and closure
We may suspend or close a creator account for breach of these terms, for suspected fraud, where verification cannot be completed, or where we are required to by law. Where it is appropriate and lawful, we will explain why and give you a route to respond.
You may stop being a creator at any time. Outstanding balances are paid on the next scheduled payout. As set out in section 4, your settled results remain on the platform.
11. Changes
We may update these terms as the platform and the advertising rules around it develop. The date at the top reflects the current version, and we will give notice of material changes before they take effect.
